Amichai, Gil Yaakov

Son of Atara and David. He was born on 14.4.1995 in Neve Dekalim, Gush Katif. Brother of Reut, Amit, Hadar, Nehorai-Or, Maayan, Liran, Yosef, Shai and Shir. Gil was born on the eve of Pesach. Gill Yaakov Amichai fell during his service on the 11th of Shevat 5766 (11.1.2016) . Twenty-one years old. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Nitzan cemetery. Gil left parents, 3 brothers and 6 sisters, and 2 brothers and 2 half sisters. On his tombstone, those who loved him wrote the verse: “Walk innocently and do justice, and speak truth in his heart” (Psalm 15: 2). Gil’s friends set up a garden in his memory near the Nitzan cemetery.
