Alexandrovich, Max

Son of Friedel and Leo (Eliezer). He was born in 1914 in Eisenach, Germany, and immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1934. After the outbreak of the bloody riots of 1936 he joined the police as a policeman and reached the rank of corporal. Was a member of the Haganah. He was shot and killed on Allenby Street in Haifa on March 30, 1939. He was laid to rest in the Haifa cemetery, and his daughter, who was born after his death, is actress Gila Almagor.
