Agmon (Clujani), Aharon
Ben Gensia and Shlomo. Born in Ramat Gan on 20 June 1955. Born and raised in Givatayim, he studied at the Katznelson Elementary School and continued his studies at the ORT high school in Ramat Gan, where his hobbies were reading, watching movies and sports. Aharon joined the army in February 1974 and was assigned to serve in the Ordnance Corps. After completing compulsory service, most of which he did in Sinai, he joined the ranks of the permanent army. In this capacity, he served as a weapons examiner and was responsible for extinguishing fire at an ammunition base. Aharon advanced to the rank of senior sergeant. During his army service he took part in the Lebanon War. Was loved and accepted by all the soldiers of the unit. Aharon was killed in the course of his duty on Tuesday, October 11, 1991, as a result of hostile terrorist activity at the Tel Hashomer junction, Joseph and Rivka were promoted to post-mortem sergeant after his death, and in a letter of condolences to the bereaved mother, then-defense minister Moshe Arens wrote that Aharon had devoted himself to the army, volunteered for missions and went to work early in the morning and remained in charge until late in the evening. The commander of the Jewish student organization in Rome planted a tree to commemorate his memory JNF forests. Nothing Aaron’s downfall was published in the press and media. The family has perpetuated the memory construction of Torah library in his name.
